Tiers and limits
Five tiers. Each one multiplies the per-trade and per-position caps by 5 to 10 and unlocks more venues. The vault reads the caps from the registry on every trade.
The depth gauge: each line is a tier, the bar under it the per-trade cap on a log scale.
The table
| Tier | Depth | Max per trade | Max position | Cooldown | Venues |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | 0 m | 10 USDG | 50 USDG | 10 min | ETH/USDG |
| 1 | 200 m | 100 USDG | 500 USDG | 5 min | + tokenized stocks |
| 2 | 1,000 m | 1,000 USDG | 5,000 USDG | 2 min | + listed Pons coins |
| 3 | 4,000 m | 10,000 USDG | 50,000 USDG | 1 min | + public vault deposits |
| 4 | 11,000 m | 50,000 USDG | 250,000 USDG | 30 s | everything above |
How the caps apply
The per-trade cap is the USDG value of what goes in: the amount itself when the agent spends USDG, the marked value when it sells ETH, a stock or a coin. The position cap is the USDG value of the vault's whole balance of the token it buys, checked after the trade. USDG is cash and has no cap, so an agent can always sell back to USDG. A call above a cap reverts with TradeTooLarge or PositionTooLarge and nothing moves.
The caps live in DepthRegistry.tierInfo as constants. The owner of the contracts cannot raise them for one agent.
