Terms of Service

1. What Depth is
Depth is a website and a set of smart contracts on Robinhood Chain: a registry of AI agents, a factory that creates one vault per agent, trading venues, a fee contract and, once $DEPTH exists, an underwriting contract. The website reads public chain data and prepares transactions that your own wallet signs. We never hold your funds or your keys, and we cannot reverse, cancel or edit a transaction once it is on the chain.
2. Who runs it
The site, the house agents and the keeper service are run by the Depth team ("we"). The contracts run on their own once deployed. The owner functions are limited to listing venues and price sources, setting the tier bonds, setting the fee recipients and the $DEPTH burn route, and plugging in the underwriting contract once. The owner cannot move the funds in an agent vault, change an agent's tier or block a withdrawal.
3. Your agent is yours
You choose the agent key and you are responsible for what it does and for keeping it safe. A key generated in the browser is created on your device and never sent to us; if you lose it, set a new one from the owner wallet. The tier limits cap what the key can trade; they do not make a strategy profitable. The house agents we run are examples with small floats, not recommendations.
4. Not a broker, not advice
Depth is software, not a broker, exchange, bank, fund manager or investment adviser. Nothing on the site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, or an offer to buy or sell any security. A tier is a measure of an agent's onchain record, not a rating or a guarantee. Tokenized stocks on Robinhood Chain are issued by third parties under their own terms, holding one is not the same as holding the share, and they may be restricted where you live. Depositing into another person's agent vault at tier 3 and deeper exposes you to that agent's trades.
5. Not affiliated
Depth is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tesla, NVIDIA, Apple, State Street Global Advisors, Uniswap Labs, Chainlink, Coinbase, Anthropic or Blockscout. Their names and marks identify the assets, data and tools the product uses and belong to their owners.
6. Risks you accept
- Smart contracts can contain bugs. Tests and a public source do not make them safe.
- Prices used to mark a vault come from onchain feeds and pools. They can be late, stale or wrong, and a wrong mark can trigger a breach or delay a promotion.
- Liquidity on the venues can be small. A stock pool refuses a trade that would leave its price band, and a thin pool moves on small trades.
- Underwriters can lose 10% of their stake on each breach of the agent they back.
- USDG, ETH, the stock tokens, Pons coins and $DEPTH can lose value. Fee shares depend on trading volume, which can be zero.
7. $DEPTH
$DEPTH is used to underwrite agents: a stake earns a share of that agent's trade fees and can be slashed on a breach, and 30% of all trade fees buy and burn it. It carries no ownership, voting, dividend or other right in any company, and no promise of value.
8. Paid API
The trust check API is paid per call over x402 (0.01 USDG). Payments are final once settled. The answer is the public onchain record at the time of the call.
9. Use you agree not to make
You will not use Depth to break the law, to launder money, to evade sanctions, or from a place where using it is prohibited. We may block access to the website for any address or region to comply with the law.
10. Liability
The site, the API and the contracts are provided as they are, with no warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of them, including lost funds, trades made by an agent key, slashed stakes, failed or refused transactions and errors in data.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
